Hello! My name is Steve Wilson Koesasih, and I am currently enrolled at the National University of Singapore (NUS), majoring in Business Analytics at the School of Computing.

During my application journey, I applied to several top universities, including UCLA, UCSD, UCB, UCD, UofT, Harvard, Stanford, NUS, and NTU. I was admitted to UCSD, UCD, UofT, NUS, and NTU, while also being waitlisted by UCLA.

 

Working with Universal Services, especially with Kak Ling-Ling as my agent, made the entire process much smoother. She helped me organize and prepare the many documents required, which would have taken a lot of my time if I had handled it on my own. With her support, I was able to focus on other goals such as competitions, IELTS preparation, and essay writing.

Kak Ling-Ling not only assisted me in sorting documents and filling out the necessary forms but also gave me feedback on my essays and helped me refine them. She reminded me of important steps and deadlines throughout the application so that I stayed on track.

What I appreciate most is how accommodating and approachable she was. Even before I officially used the services, Kak Ling-Ling welcomed my questions about universities, grades, and admissions. She always answered in detail and never hesitate to share her knowledge, even in casual conversations.

 

Overall, I am very satisfied with Universal Services. Kak Ling-Ling has been an important part of my journey to my dream university, and I am truly grateful for her guidance and support.

One of my dreams from childhood was to have my high school education overseas.  When I stumbled across Columbia International College during grade 10, I knew it would be an option for me to choose. Writing my biggest gratitude for Universal Service who had guided me even 2 years before my admission. As a curious person, I did my research for future art studies in Singapore from scratch with Universal Service and they answered every one of my detailed inquiries. Plus point, seeing my ambitions, they also gave me tips and honest opinions on how to prepare a good portfolio for my application. Thanks to them, I got a hint of what studying overseas is like before having to step foot in Singapore.

Huge thanks to Ms. Fani who thoroughly explained the Tuition Grant and Scholarship prospect from NAFA, an excellent opportunity that helped with financial burdens (especially for international students) during their studies! Without her guidance, I wouldn’t be able to be granted a scholarship (first year) and a tuition grant to cover my 3 years of studies.

It was a very meaningful head start for my NAFA journey as I was admitted during the pandemic days.

ps. They even helped me to communicate with the Ministry of Health since I was traveling during the pandemic!

My experience with universal have been very good!

 

My name is Jocelyn Permana, a student in SIM GE. I applied to SIM to pursue my Diploma in Management Studies. I aim to continue my studies to take my bachelor in hotel and tourism with La Trobe as my university partner. 

I applied to SIM because it’s a leading private institution with high accreditation for its teaching. I used Universal’s help to apply to SIM. My experience in Universal have been very good. They are really helpful and is always there to assist your questions and needs. Universal also informed me about the scholarship that SIM provides. I  prepared for the scholarship by searching scholarship questions and immediately answering them as a way to practice. Kak Ena from Universal told me to not memorize the answers and answer the interview spontaneously, truthfully, with confidence. Therefore, that is what I did in my interview session to then receive the 50% merit scholarship from SIM!

Like any other high school student in their last year, it was also time for me to start college applications. It was difficult at first; the legal documents, essays, and portfolios that I have to prepare in just a couple of months. I found myself overwhelmed at the many tasks I had to complete.

But fortunately, Universal was there to assist me during those strenuous months. With their team of professional staff, they accommodated all my needs and provided guidance during my applications.

With their tremendous help, I was able to get a spot at one of the most prestigious universities in the world, Cornell University. Soon, I will start my freshman year where I will be majoring in Architecture at the College of AAP. I would not have accomplished this amazing feat if it wasn't for Universal's support.
