Beasiswa Chevening/Babcock Maritime Partnership Programme (CMPP): Kesempatan Kuliah S2 Full Scholarship di Inggris untuk Profesional Maritim Indonesia

Kabar baik bagi para profesional dan lulusan Indonesia yang ingin mengembangkan karier di sektor maritim. Pemerintah Inggris melalui program Chevening bekerja sama dengan Babcock International Group menghadirkan Chevening/Babcock Maritime Partnership Programme (CMPP) Scholarships, sebuah program beasiswa penuh untuk jenjang Master (S2) di berbagai universitas terkemuka di Inggris.

Program ini dirancang untuk mendukung pengembangan sumber daya manusia Indonesia di sektor maritim yang menjadi salah satu pilar penting pembangunan nasional. Setiap tahunnya, sebanyak 10 penerima beasiswa dari Indonesia akan mendapatkan kesempatan untuk menempuh pendidikan S2 di Inggris selama tiga tahun ke depan.

Apa Saja yang Ditawarkan?

Beasiswa CMPP merupakan beasiswa penuh (fully-funded scholarship) yang memungkinkan peserta untuk mengambil program Master di universitas mana pun di Inggris yang sesuai dengan bidang studi yang dipilih. Program ini terbuka bagi seluruh warga negara Indonesia tanpa batasan usia.

Bidang studi yang menjadi fokus program meliputi:

• Advanced Manufacturing
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) dan Automation
• Environmental Sustainability
• Fisheries Management
• Naval Architecture
• Project Management
• Shipbuilding (operasi, infrastruktur, teknik, dan desain)
• Supply Chain Management
• System Integration

Bidang-bidang tersebut dipilih untuk mendukung pengembangan industri maritim Indonesia yang lebih modern, berkelanjutan, dan kompetitif di tingkat global.

Jadwal Pendaftaran

Bagi calon pelamar yang tertarik, periode pendaftaran akan dibuka pada:

Agustus – Oktober 2026

Sementara studi di Inggris akan dimulai pada tahun akademik:

September 2027 – 2028

Singapore Tourism Board Jalin Kemitraan Perdana dengan Majelis Pendidikan Dasar Menengah dan Pendidikan Non-Formal Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur dan Universal Solusi Edukasi untuk Mendorong Perjalanan Pembelajaran Singkat ke Singapura

 

SURABAYA, 5 Juni 2026 — Singapore Tourism Board (STB) Indonesia hari ini mengumumkan kemitraan perdana dengan Majelis Pendidikan Dasar Menengah dan Pendidikan Non-Formal (Dikdasmen) Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur, bekerja sama dengan PT Universal Solusi Edukasi, untuk mendorong pertumbuhan wisata edukasi dari Jawa Timur ke Singapura. 

Kemitraan selama satu tahun ini bertujuan menghadirkan sedikitnya 500 partisipan dari sekolah-sekolah Muhammadiyah di Jawa Timur ke Singapura melalui program Overseas Student Trips yang terstruktur. Program ini dirancang untuk memperkaya pengalaman belajar siswa dan memperluas wawasan mereka melalui paparan terhadap pembelajaran lintas negara, lingkungan pendidikan yang beragam, serta inovasi.

Kolaborasi ini mencerminkan komitmen bersama Muhammadiyah Jawa Timur, Universal Solusi Edukasi, dan Singapore Tourism Board dalam mendukung pengembangan generasi muda melalui pengalaman internasional yang bermakna dan memiliki tujuan yang jelas. Keunggulan Singapura sebagai destinasi yang aman, mudah diakses, terhubung dengan baik, serta menawarkan berbagai pengalaman pembelajaran dan pengayaan yang berkualitas menjadikannya pilihan ideal bagi pelajar Indonesia yang ingin mengikuti program perjalanan pembelajaran ke luar negeri.

During my application journey, I applied to several top universities, including UCLA, UCSD, UCB, UCD, UofT, Harvard, Stanford, NUS, and NTU. I was admitted to UCSD, UCD, UofT, NUS, and NTU, while also being waitlisted by UCLA.

NAFA faculty, students, alumni, with distinguished guests from Ministry of Education, including MOE Mr Chan Chun Sing, Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Mr Shawn Huang and Colleagues from the University of Arts Singapore.

 

We were delighted to welcome Minister for Education, Mr Chan Chun Sing, and Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Mr Shawn Huang, to NAFA on 23 October 2024.

Faculty, students, and alumni led an interactive showcase of their works, inviting Minister Chan to explore an immersive 360-degree music experience that integrated technology with traditional ethnic instruments, engage with an educational game designed for the Children’s Museum Singapore, interact with Chinese ink paintings enhanced with AR integration, and experience sustainably designed furniture firsthand.

The breadth of creativity and innovation on display was truly inspiring—from the intersection of art and technology to design solutions addressing real-world challenges. These works highlight how our students are actively shaping the future of art and design.

Applying for university and scholarship was a challenge for me. But with Universal’s help, I’m able to apply to SIM GE and submit for scholarship application. Firstly, I got lots of information and guidance on what I should prepare.
